Strain: WI-Grm2em1

Symbol: WI-Grm2em1
Strain: WI-Grm2em1
RGD ID: 41410881
Citation ID: RRID:RGD_41410881
Ontology ID: RS:0004857
Alleles: Grm2em1
Also Known As: WI-Grm2em1; WI-Grm2^[em1]
Type: mutant
Available Source: Not Available
Origination: Transposagen Biopharmaceutical
Description: This mutant rat strain was produced by Transposagen Biopharmaceutical and available in mGluR2+/- breeding pairs. The genome modification created a premature stop codon insertion that causes a nonsense mutation at amino acid C407, deleting the transmembrane and intracellular domains of the receptor and rendering the gene nonfunctional.
Last Known Status: Unknown
