Description: In 2001, abnormal incisors that had deteriorated and had a whitish chalk-like appearance were unexpectedly discovered in one male rat among Sprague-Dawley [Crj:CD(SD)IGS] rats (Masuyama, 2005). After that, this mutant phenotype was maintained by sib-mating.
