Gene: Dusp5em1Mcwi (dual specificity phosphatase 5; ZFN induced mutant1, Mcwi) Rattus norvegicus
Analyze
Symbol: Dusp5em1Mcwi
Name: dual specificity phosphatase 5; ZFN induced mutant1, Mcwi
RGD ID: 13451539
Description: This mutation was induced by injecting ZFNs targeting the following sequence CAGGGCAGCCGC- CACtggcaGAAGCTGCGGGAGGA in exon 1 of the rat Dusp5 gene into FHH-Chr 1BN/Mcwi embryos. The resulting mutation is a 14 bp deletion and a 3 bp insertion between nucleotides 449¿464 in Dusp5 mRNA that creates a frame shift mutation which is predicted to introduce a premature stop codon at amino acid (AA) 121.
ASSOCIATED WITH decreased vasoconstriction
Type: allele  of Dusp5
Previously known as: Dusp5^[em1Mcwi]; Dusp5em1Mcwi
Is Marker For: Strains:   FHH-Chr 1BN-Dusp5em1Mcwi
Latest Assembly: mRatBN7.2 - mRatBN7.2 Assembly
Position: No map positions available.
