Description: The CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing system was used to created a conditional knockout of floxed Nr3c1 gene in outbred SD embryos. The LoxP sequences were inserted in the 5prime and 3prime sides of exon 3. For CaMKIIa cell-specific knockdown, 0.1 ul of AAV9.CamKII.HI.eGFP-Cre.WPRE.SV40 (CaMKIIa Cre) [Penn Vector Core] was injected bilaterally and allowed a minimal of 3 weeks to incubate.
