A calculated measurement in which the amount of reduced glutathione in a specified sample of liver is divided by the total weight of that liver, and the result presented as a ratio, fraction, quotient or percentage. Reduced glutathione is a glutathione peptide in which the sulfhydryl/thiol group (-SH) of the cysteine exists in its reduced form, rather than as part of a disulfide bridge with a second glutathione molecule.
