A calculated measurement in which the total number of motor neurons found on the damaged side of the spinal cord is divided by total number of motor neurons found on the undamaged side of the spinal cord and presented as the base 10 logarithm of the resulting value. A logarithm is the power to which a base, such as 10, must be raised to produce a given number.
