Definition:any structural anomaly of the small intra-orbital lacrimal glands that are located superficially at the lateral canthus, where both the lacrimal gland and Harderian gland ducts open
Comment:The mouse has two pairs of lacrimal glands. The larger exorbital (extra-orbital) glands are located subcutaneously at the anteroventral base of the ear adjacent to the parotid gland; the smaller intra-orbital glands are located superficially at the lateral canthus, where both the lacrimal gland and Harderian gland ducts open
