Definition:Examination or observation of material, performed in or on a living body, for example, a procedure performed on an organ in situ or on the entire living organism, which employs a stereo light microscope, an optical instrument that uses visible light (electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths between approximately 390 and 700 nm) processed through a dual lens system, arranged in such a way that for the observer each eye or for a recording device each optical input receives a magnified image from a separate lens, generating a three-dimensional view.
