Definition:A procedure or technique by which the size of the three dimensional space occupied by a liquid substance is ascertained using a calibrated Mohr pipette, a glass or transparent plastic tube with a series of graduated markings on it indicating volumes which has been checked and/or adjusted by comparison with a standard to ensure the accuracy of the measurement.
