MEASUREMENT METHODS - ANNOTATIONS

The Clinical Measurement Ontology (CMO), Measurement Methods Ontology (MMO), and Experimental Condition Ontology (XCO) are currently being developed at the Rat Genome Database. Definition:Use of a myograph to study muscle contraction after removal of the tissue from the body. A myograph is a device for quantifying contractile properties of muscles (e.g. force-length, force-velocity), generally through direct mechanical coupling to a force transducer, that is, an instrument which converts one form of energy, such as mechanical force, into another form, such as an electrical signal, for recording.
