Definition:A calculated measurement in which the number of fetuses with hydrocephaly is divided by the total number of fetuses in the prospective litter, and the result presented as a ratio, fraction, quotient or percentage. Hydrocephaly is characterized by an abnormal accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in the ventricles of the brain.
