Definition:A value or quantity determined by count of large ( > 3 mm) metastatic tumors in the left lobes (left lateral lobe and median lobes in rat) of the liver. A metastatic tumor in the liver is a secondary, abnormal growth of tissue resulting from the spread of cancer cells to the liver from the place where they first formed.
