The quantification of a morphological or physiological parameter of blood globulins, a broad category of proteins classified by solubility, electrophoretic mobility, and size. Globulins comprise the most or all of the non-albumin plasma proteins in blood and include carrier proteins, acute phase reactants, clotting factors, complement components, and immunoglobulins.
