ratio of the count of pancreatic islets with peripheral duct and vessel inflammatory infiltrate only to total pancreatic islet count
A calculated measurement in which the number of pancreatic islets that display infiltration of inflammatory cells only into the surrounding ducts and blood vessels, without immune cells inside or immediately adjacent to the islets, is divided by the total number of pancreatic islets, and the result presented as a ratio, fraction, quotient or percentage.
