ratio of the count of inflammatory cell-infiltrated pancreatic islets without B cell pathology to the total pancreatic islet count
A calculated measurement in which the number of pancreatic islets that have been infiltrated with inflammatory cells but do not display abnormalities of the beta cells is divided by the total number of pancreatic islets, and the result presented as a ratio, fraction, quotient or percentage.
