Measurement of the size of the three dimensional space occupied by a solution of quinine consumed as a drink, a liquid that is brought into the mouth and swallowed to quench thirst and/or for nourishment. Quinine is a bitter alkaloid of cinchona that has antimalarial, analgesic, antipyretic, mild oxytocic, cardiac depressant, and sclerosing properties, and decreases the excitability of the motor end plate.
