Definition:A calculated measurement corresponding to the ratio or percent reduction in left atrial diameter between end-systole and end-diastole. It is calculated as the left atrium end-systolic diameter (LADs) minus the left atrium end-diastolic diameter (LADd) divided by the left atrium end-systolic diameter (LADs).
