A polysaccharide-derived antigen from Providencia stuartii composed of a backbone of branched tetrasaccharide repeating units comprised of alternating beta-D-galactose and N-acetylglucosamine residues joined to each other via beta-(1->3)- or -(1->6)-linkages, with an N-acetyl-L-asparaginyl-alpha-D-quinovosyl side-chain attached by a (1->6)-linkage to one of the galactosyl residues.
