12/21 - RGD releases new Disease Tracks on rat and human GBrowse

RGD's rat and human GBrowse genome browsers now include "disease tracks".  For each disease category, the choice of disease-related genes, QTLs or strains for rat, and genes or QTLs for human, allows users to view only those objects related to a particular disease type.  For instance, click here to compare genes related to Cardiovascular Diseases and genes related to Endocrine System Diseases with all of the genes in the region.  Or click here to view all genes, QTL and strains in a region that are related to Cardiovascular Diseases.  The GBrowse tool filters results based on RGD's manually curated, literature-based Disease Ontology annotations.  Details about the relevant annotations are available in the informational popup balloons which appear when you mouse over an object.
